Gaming marathon lands Norwegian teen in hospital

It’s COD-Ghosts-Maniac-Blindside-jpg_183344not unusual for gamers who embark on a marathon gaming binge to make sure they’re well stocked with caffeinated beverages. But a 14-year old Norwegian boy has a warning: Be careful how much you consume.

Henrik Eide Dahl was hospitalized with severe kidney failure after a 16-hour marathon gaming session during which he consumed an eye-popping eight liters of energy drinks to battle fatigue. That’s over two gallons of the high sugar, high caffeine beverages.
